SF integration good but needs more

"We use SalesForce with Exact target to generate reports for e-mail sends and we are just starting drip marketing. While it works pretty well we are looking for better subscription management options without Exact Target branding and better ability to capture and organize useful intelligence about visitor interest based on behavior within the e-mail and on the site once they click a link."

"ExactTarget makes a significant point of differentiation in the ESP space by how they integrate to salesforce.com. Most ESPs and Marketing Automation providers simply 'synchronize' the data - meaning they push it back and forth between their app and sf.com. With ET, they actually write to sf.com as the database of record. Huge difference. This allows for ALL of the sf.com data to be used in email content (custom objects, special reports, all data fields, picklists, etc...) Head and shoulders above the others."

"Our organization lacked effectiveness in focusing toward actions that would be valuable to our clients. We spent a significant amount of time on manual and administrative tasks.
Bringing on the right technology was key to shifting focus to client-facing activities, and the tools available in ExactTarget and Salesforce are easy to use.
Time that's now free thanks to marketing automation and streamlining allows people to focus on spending meaningful time with clients and growing accounts.
